Resident Evil 5 (Capcom)
The bio-disaster/corporate greed/zombie apocalypse survival horror franchise that started it all returns with its fifth installment – and returning with them is series staple Chris Redfield. This time Redfield (aka - the unluckiest dude in the world) heads to Western Africa as a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA) to investigate volcanic activity that may release a long-dormant, deadly virus. Judging from the trailers and gameplay we’ve seen, where everyone and everything seems intent on killing Redfield, we’re assuming things take a turn for the worse. The new game is said to put a lot of emphasis on co-operation – whether in single player, offline co-op or online co-op modes – as Redfield and new character Sheva Alomar need to work together to overcome the various deadly obstacles encountered.
