Watchmen Primer

It seems everyone is talking about impending blockbuster Watchmen these days, positioning it as “the end of superhero movies” or “the beginning of a new era in superhero movies” or debating how faithful to the original comic book it’ll really be. Based on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ 1986 groundbreaking graphic novel—the only one to make Time magazine’s "100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present"—Watchmen introduces an alternate timeline where superheroes walk the earth, for better or worse.
