Best Sweep
After killing it at the non-televised gala Saturday night with two big wins (Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year), Feist continued her Junos sweep at Sunday’s ceremony, taking home Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year. The hometown girl who was catapulted into the global spotlight by an iPod commercial deserved every accolade she got for The Reminder, last year’s most magical Canadian album. And just when we thought we couldn’t find her any more endearing, she wrote her thank you list on her arm, called herself a “soft and sucky person” and politely scampered off the stage the second the music started playing.
