MMVAs '08 - Best and Worst Moments: Best Trip Down Memory Lane
The New Kids on the Block treated the MMVAs audience to their first prime-time performance in 15 years, singing a medley of their No. 1 hits before launching into their new single “Summertime.” Sure, the vocals were shaky and the dance moves were older than most of the screaming fans (not that they didn’t try to mix things up; during “The Right Stuff,” Donnie yelled out “new style” and led the boys in front-to-back kicks instead of side-to-side kicks. Ooooh, edgy!) But despite their flaws, we found ourselves overcome with nostalgia and rushing home to take our NKOTB pillowcases out of storage.
