Getting a television show on the air is incredibly difficult; keeping it on the air is harder still. Sadly, the WGA strike caused more television casualties than usual in 2008; even months later, previously popular shows couldn’t get viewers to tune back in. Other new shows struggled right from the first episode and couldn’t find their footing before their network pulled the plug. We take a look at some of the quality shows that may not have survived this past year but will be forever missed.
