10) The Others live surprisingly well for the middle of nowhere
The third season premiere of Lost began with a flashback in a nice house with unfamiliar people. A pretty blonde woman listens to Petula Clark’s “Downtown” as she tries to stop crying. Soon she’s setting her house up for a book club meeting, but just as the group is starting to bicker about the book choice, the house begins to shake – Oceanic Flight 815 is falling apart in the sky above them. Ben, the evil Other from Season 2, begins ordering people to go to the crash site and pretend they were on the plane. Meh, their village isn’t that nice – hang on, do they have indoor plumbing?
